The Invisalign Process

One of our skilled dentists will evaluate your teeth, discuss your goals, and determine if Invisalign is the right treatment for you. We will take a digital scan of your teeth and show you an on the spot computer simulation to preview the final results.
If Invisalign suits your orthodontic needs, our dentists will take digital impressions, photographs, and X-rays of your teeth. We will use these images to create a customized treatment plan.
Using the treatment plan, a series of custom-made aligners will be created specifically for you. Each set of aligners is designed to gently pressure your teeth to shift them into the desired positions gradually.
Once your aligners are ready, you will wear them as your dentist directs. It's essential to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
You will visit our dental practice periodically, typically every few weeks, for progress checks and to receive your new aligners. Each new aligner will continue the progression of your tooth movements.
Once you have worn all the aligners in your series, your treatment is complete. Our dentists will evaluate your progress and discuss post-treatment retention options, such as retainers, to maintain the alignment of your newly straightened smile.
